Residential Builders
Oaklea Builders are an established professional local company, working within the counties of Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and West Sussex. We carry out all aspects of building works solely for residential clients.
We are happy to visit your property for an initial free consultation with a view to providing a detailed no obligation, quotation in line with your projects individual requirements.
We are here to help and our mission is to make the building process, no matter how large or small, run smoothly and to budget with the minimum of disruption to your everyday lives. We aim to work with our clients at all stages of the project to help your property fulfil its potential.
Insured Work
We have been members of the Federation of Master Builders since April 2005 and are in the Masterbond Scheme and as such can provide an insurance backed guarantee to all our works.
The Federation of Master Builders carries out checks on the quality and consistency of our work at regular intervals to provide future clients with peace of mind. Through the Federation of Master Builders we are also a member of the Trustmark scheme.
We are happy to working to either the FMB works contract or JCT Minor works contract, this provides piece of mind and a structure for the works.
All work is carried out to current HSE standards and we are pleased to confirm that Oaklea is an Environment Agency registered waste carrier.
The Building Process
We will visit your property and listen to your requirements, we will advise and discuss any element of the project that may need clarification.
At this stage if Planning Permission / Building Regulation approval is required we can guide you through this process and even apply for any permissions required on your behalf.
Of course for larger projects one meeting may not be enough, no problem, at this stage our advice and help won’t cost you a penny!
Budgeting for Works
We will then provide an itemised quotation detailing all the works during the project in a logical and simple format along with a preliminary project program.
We pride ourselves that our quotations cover all aspects of the project, so this should enable you to budget a lot more accurately for the project.
When all has been agreed and a start date provided our qualified and experienced team will carry out the project with a minimum of disruption to you.
Dedicated Supervision
At all times the tradesmen will be supervised by a site Foreman who will have full knowledge of the project.
Finally at handover, any systems installed will be fully explained and a project manual provided detailing all warrantees, guarantees and instructions as required. Within this manual will be Electrical and Gas certificates if applicable.
